Meet Heathar Shepard

Heathar’s work centers on helping women restore thyroid health, rebuild energy, and support hormonal balance through real nourishment. After witnessing the loss of her grandmother to cancer while she was in high school, Heathar became deeply interested in understanding what truly creates health in the human body. That experience led her into more than two decades of studying nutrition and holistic systems of healing that view the body as an interconnected whole.

Heathar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and a Master’s degree in Classical Homeopathy, along with advanced training in Qi Gong and Classical Chinese Medicine. Through these studies, she developed a deep understanding of how metabolism, the nervous system, hormones, and nutrition all influence thyroid function and women’s overall vitality. Her work focuses especially on women experiencing fatigue, burnout, hormonal disruption, and symptoms of low thyroid function—helping them restore the foundational conditions the body needs to produce energy and regain balance.

Outside of her clinical work, Heathar lives with her wife on their small farm in northern New Mexico, where they raise dairy cows and steward the land. Farming has deepened her belief that health begins with nourishment—real food grown from healthy soil, supportive rhythms of living, and a deeper connection to the natural world. These principles form the foundation of her work supporting women in reclaiming their energy, metabolism, and long-term health.

Meet Jen Antill

Jen is the office manager and website designer here at Eat, Heal, Farm. She is here to support clients and students so everyone feels welcome and nourished throughout their experience.

When she is not working here, you can find Jen writing and farming. She also has an obsessive love for musical theatre and accents of all kinds. If asked, she will gladly pull up a British accent, perhaps an Australian one, and, of course, her best New Mexico accent.

In Jen’s pervious life, she worked as a midwife, astrologer, and therapist. She is currently taking a break from offering these services and is enjoying a significant change in pace.

Introducing Heathar + Jen’s Farm

Aside from running Eat, Heal, Farm together, Heathar and Jen run a 5-acre grass-fed, organic dairy farm in rural New Mexico where they provide raw dairy to communities all over New Mexico.
