1:1 Nutritional Consultations for Hypothyroidism
Many women struggling with hypothyroidism or Hashimoto’s thyroiditis are told the only solution is lifelong medication. While medications like Synthroid can sometimes help manage thyroid hormone levels, they don’t address the underlying factors that contributed to thyroid imbalance in the first place. This is why the majority of women on Synthroid only make progress on paper (lab tests), not their hypothyroid symptoms.
During your one-on-one thyroid nutrition consultation, Heathar works with you to uncover the root contributors to your symptoms through a comprehensive intake process that includes:
Detailed health history
Review of current symptoms
Blood work evaluation
Diet and lifestyle analysis
Stress levels and mental-emotional triggers
From there, Heathar develops a personalized thyroid support plan designed to help restore metabolic balance and support healthy thyroid function.
Your plan will include guidance on:
Nutrient-dense, traditional food plan that supports thyroid health
Balancing minerals and blood sugar
Improving digestion and gut health
Supporting energy, sleep, and hormone balance
Strategic use of supplements, glandulars, or homeopathic support when appropriate

Heathar’s Philosophy
I believe that food should nourish and support the body — not restrict it. This is especially true when it comes to supporting the thyroid, which depends on steady nourishment, adequate energy, and a well-supported metabolism to function properly.
Many modern nutrition approaches rely on extreme or fad-style dieting — cutting out entire food groups or cycling through trends like keto, carnivore, or other restrictive protocols. While these approaches may offer short-term results for some people, they can often place additional stress on the metabolism and nervous system, which may further disrupt thyroid and hormonal balance.
My work focuses on something much simpler and far more sustainable: nutrient-dense, whole foods prepared in ways that humans have thrived on for generations. The thyroid requires consistent nourishment — adequate protein, carbohydrates, minerals, and healthy fats — to support energy production and hormonal balance.
This often means prioritizing foods such as:
• high-quality animal proteins
• fresh fruits and vegetables
• properly prepared grains and starches
• grass-fed dairy when tolerated
• traditional fats
• mineral-rich broths and slow-cooked foods
Rather than chasing dietary extremes, the goal is to restore the body’s metabolism, digestion, and hormone balance through consistent nourishment. When the body is properly supported, the thyroid often begins to function more efficiently, and many symptoms start to improve — energy increases, sleep deepens, digestion stabilizes, and hormones come back into balance.
Supplements and homeopathy can play a supportive role when needed, but they should never replace the foundation of good food. The first step in supporting the thyroid is helping the body feel safe, nourished, and well-fed again.

Wondering If You Have Hypothyroidism?
Wondering If You Have Hypothyroidism?
Thoughtfully crafted to elevate what matters most.
If You’re Unsure, Do This Before Booking
Many women struggling with hypothyroid symptoms are told their thyroid is “normal” because their TSH falls within the conventional lab range. Yet they continue to experience symptoms such as fatigue, cold sensitivity, weight gain, poor sleep, digestive issues, hair loss, or hormone imbalance.
Standard thyroid blood tests can miss subtle thyroid dysfunction. Because of this, I use a metabolic assessment approach that looks at your body’s physiological signals—specifically body temperature and pulse rate—alongside symptoms. These markers provide insight into how effectively your thyroid is supporting your metabolism.
If you’re uncertain whether or not you have hypothyroidism, I encourage you to complete the following 7-day thyroid function log.
Instructions for Thyroid Testing
1
Test for 7 Consecutive Days
You will take two measurements each day.
If you are menstruating, begin the test on Day 2 or Day 3 of your cycle (Day 1 is the first day of bleeding).
Morning Measurement (Upon Waking)
2
Immediately upon waking:
• Take your body temperature
• Then measure your pulse rate
Important guidelines:
• Take your temperature before getting out of bed
• Use either an oral thermometer or take the temperature axillary (under the armpit)
• Remain resting while taking the measurement
After recording your temperature, measure your pulse rate for a full 60 seconds.
You can check your pulse from either:
• Radial artery (inside of wrist)
• Carotid artery (side of neck)
Choose whichever is easiest for you to feel clearly.
Midday Measurement
3
Take a second temperature and pulse measurement between 12:00–1:00 PM.
Again:
Record temperature
Then measure pulse for one full minute
• Date
• Morning temperature
• Morning pulse
• Midday temperature
• Midday pulse
A simple journal or note on your phone is fine.

Understanding Your Results
Signs of Sluggish Thyroid Function:
Consistently low temperature and/or pulse readings may indicate reduced thyroid function and a slower metabolic rate.
If your results fall below these ranges and you are experiencing hypothyroid symptoms, you may be an excellent candidate for working together.
During our work, I help identify the root causes suppressing thyroid function and develop an individualized nutrition and lifestyle strategy to support metabolic recovery.
What Healthy Thyroid Function Looks Like:
A well-functioning thyroid supports a strong metabolic rate, which is reflected in body temperature and pulse.
Typical healthy ranges:
Morning Temperature
98.0–98.6°F
(36.6–37°C)Midday Temperature
Around 98.6°F / 37°CPulse Rate
Approximately 80–85 beats per minute
